WELCOME

West Cumbria Trades Hall Centre was established in 1981 when there was a large scale redundancy at the local Steel Works. The Centre offered redundancy counselling to those made redundant.

During this period it was found that other unemployed people in the area needed help to access training, education and employment.

The Centre has gone from strength to strength and has now been operating an outreach service in the local communities for over 9 years.

We pride ourselves in the professional way we work, using highly qualified members of staff/volunteers and giving a free confidential information, advice and guidance service to individuals.
